Tiny Type Carved on a Pencil Point

‘Alphabet’, pencil-tip structures, Dalton Ghetti, USA. Photo by Sloan T. Howard Photography.

I saw this really cool example of hand carved type and thought it was worth sharing.  It is from the Power of Making, the Crafts Council exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

What typeface do you think this artist / maker was thinking about when they made this? So sanserif:) You can see more of Dalton’s work online at daltonmghetti.com
